It was great to spend the Fourth of July in La Farge, WI, home to Organic Valley’s headquarters and one of the most genuine small-town Independence Day parades! The parade went right past the house where I stay, and the festival (mud volleyball, tractor pulls, food, drinks, and fireworks) was a few blocks down. Enjoy the pictures!

Organic Valley folks came by with string cheese for the crowd.

Curt Parr‘s son Theo made a brave showing at the kiddie tractor pull, making the crowd’s day by yelling “It’s too easy!!!” in true American spirit!
