Welcome to Rootstock! We’re glad you’re here. In order to maintain an enjoyable and informative experience for everyone, we ask that you abide by the following house rules:
Be Nice! We love to see debate and discussion, but it should always remain respectful, which means no abusive or obscene posts. Treat other people with respect and courtesy. We have a lot to learn from one another, and that’s best done when acting civil. Comments using inappropriate language and which are abusive towards authors and other users will be deleted.
Stay on Topic. The main focus of our website and social media is preserving and promoting organic and sustainable food and agriculture. That’s who we are, and we hope you’re joining us because you want to learn more about these subjects, too. We also love talking about our work culture at Organic Valley, our organic farmers, stuff we’re doing in the community, human health, recipes, gardening and much more. Posts that stray too far from what our co-op is about belong elsewhere. Keep to the issue which is addressed in the article or post. Please also restrict thread comments to the topic at hand. It’s good net-iquette!
No Product or Service Promotion. We’re not able to verify the validity of outside products or services, nor do we want our blog or social media pages to become a billboard of advertisements. Comments promoting products or services will be removed.
No Advocating a Religion or Politics (Individuals or Parties). While we will occasionally blog about legislation that directly impacts organic farmers and consumers, we will not promote an individual politician or political party, and we will remove comments that promote specific candidates, political parties, or campaigns.
Do Not Encourage, Advocate or Propose Illegal Activity.
Be Genuine. Represent who you are and the information you are presenting as accurately and truthfully as possible. Honesty is the best policy.
We reserve the right to remove posts that violate the above guidelines and ban users who consistently break these house rules and disrupt the experience of other users.
If you have an issue you’d like to discuss with one of our consumer relations team members, please Contact Us . Thanks!
