With September right around the corner, back-to-school shopping has officially begun. This means new pencils, notebooks, clothes and the oh-so-loved trapper keeper. While your child is way more excited about these items, we know that the most important purchases you make as parents are the food your child will eat during lunch.

Organic Valley has partnered with Annie’s Homegrown, Stonyfield and Honest Kids to bring you the Rock the Lunchbox campaign.

Parents can visit the microsite to share lunchbox ideas for a chance to win prizes, see photo and video lunchbox tips, and print coupons to purchase organic and convenient products.

Here are a few of my favorite tips found on the site:

  • These tips to pack your kids’ lunch with non-toxic ice packs and containers.
  • Be sure to let your child help you pick out some of their food and pack the lunchbox with you. This will keep them engaged with their food!
  • Make sure you can understand everything on a product’s ingredients list. If you can’t pronounce it, don’t purchase it!

How do you rock your lunchbox? Be sure to check out the microsite to help you get more creative tips and ideas.
