Apparently, there is also pork sold as beef, glowing pork, steamed buns made from sewage, reused restaurant oil latterly collected from gutters, milk with melamine in it that killed 4 babies, and watermelons injected with so much growth hormone that they explode.

Pretty incredible. Even though the U.S. food system isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, at least I don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night and wonder why that pork I accidentally left out is glowing – never mind that they say it’s still safe to eat…
